How to Install and Activate Font Hero in WordPress

Font Hero isn't on WordPress.org, so you can't install it from the plugin search. You need to upload the zip yourself and then activate your license. This short video shows how to install Font Hero, and the whole thing takes under a minute.

Install the plugin

You install Font Hero like any other premium WordPress plugin: download the zip, then upload it to your site.

  1. Download the Font Hero zip file to your computer. You can get it from your account at dplugins.com/login/, where you can also download files, see your licenses and generate invoices.
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin, find the zip on your computer and select it.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate the plugin.

Activate your license

You need to activate the license before you can use the plugin. The Font Hero screen shows this message: "To get you started, please activate your license first."

  1. Go to Tools → Font Hero.
  2. On the Welcome to Font Hero screen, paste your key into the Enter your license key field.
  3. Click Activate license.

Activation is now done, and you can start adding fonts from the Font Hero screen (+ Add Family). The same screen lists links you may need later: your admin area, support, the DPlugins Facebook group and the YouTube channel.
