Install Oxygen Design Sets with the Free Asura Connector Plugin

If you sell Oxygen Builder design sets, delivering them usually means sending export files and walking each customer through importing colors, classes, templates and pages by hand. Asura Connector is the free plugin your customers install to receive design sets straight from your Asura provider. You manage every design set and every provider from one source of truth, and the customer installs a full set in a few clicks.

Install the connector

The customer installs the connector once. After that, every design set you publish reaches their site through it.

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New and search for the plugin, or download it from wordpress.org/plugins/asura-connector.
  2. Install and activate it. In the video, Asura Connector then shows up in the admin menu.

Add a provider

A provider is the site that holds your design sets and licenses. Because the connector can store more than one provider, a customer who buys from several sellers still works from one screen.

  1. Open Asura Connector and stay on the Dashboard tab.
  2. Click Add New Provider. When it's saved, you'll see the message "New Provider added successfully."
  3. The provider appears in the list with its Site and Endpoint. Each row has Install Wizard, Manage License, Edit and Delete actions. There's also a Clean cache button at the top.

Install a design set with the Install Wizard

This step replaces the manual import. The wizard lets you choose exactly which parts of the design set are applied to the site.

  1. Click Install Wizard next to the provider.
  2. Under Overwrite all Oxygen's settings?, choose Keep & disable or Overwrite.
  3. Under Apply on, tick the parts you want: Colors, Stylesheets, Oxygen's Settings, Stylesets, Selectors, Templates, Pages and Classes.
  4. Under Design sets, pick the set. The video uses Design Set 1 - Utility.
  5. Run the install. You'll get one confirmation for each part (for example "Colors installed successfully." and "Templates installed successfully."), then "Installation done."

The customer gets the full design set on their Oxygen site without handling export files, and you keep control of design sets and licenses in one place.
